Sunday, January 23rd at 2:00pm Please join us Sunday, January 23rd at 2:00 PM to learn about the refugee resettlement process, and how we can support refugees, and help integrate them into our communities. Dr. Jessica Darrow, an expert in the refugee resettlement policy from the University of Chicago, will introduce the key structures of the U.S. Refugee Admissions Program. And Samera Hadi, director of programs at Girlforward, a leading Chicago-based community of support for girls, will introduce the services Girlforward provides to newly-arrived refugee girls. The need for Muslim community engagement is greater than ever before. Please join us at the Baitul Ilm Academy (485 S Bartlett Rd., Streamwood, IL 60107) to learn more about how to welcome newly-arrived Muslim, and especially Afghan, refugees.  Please note: Registration is required to attend the program.
